FCOH News Reading Through John in 2010 Come face to face with Jesus Christ, the Son of God as we begin our journey into 2010 studying the book of John. Each Home Bible Study group will discuss designated chapters as each individual reads John on their own to fellowship each Wednesday night. Begin January 1st with John 1. The shower is March 28th at the Pasadena Town Square Community Center, 12 noon to 5pm. Anyone who would like to help with preparations should contact sgarcia@fcoh.net. Men Blood Brothers Men of all ages are invited to fellowship together in the Word, in prayer and in encouragement. There are two opportunities to meet on a weekly basis: *Thursday nights at 7pm at the home of Matt Cerda. Every Sunday of the month at 8 a.m. in Room #6. Women are gathering to pray each Sunday as the FCOH body prepares to receive the guests that the Lord will bring for worship.  Prayer time is dedicated to anyone who needs prayers or feels led to pray for and with someone.  All Women are invited to join this group of prayer warriors. RA/GA's Royal Ambassadors (RAs)/Girls in Action (GAs) meet on Sundays for biblical training and mission awareness. Boys and girls - grades 1st thru 5th are welcome to participate. Acteens (grade 6-12) for girls who have completed GAs or have an interest in learning how God's plan for them includes mission work! Acteens meets every other Sunday at the Alderete home so please check the calendar for dates. Contact GRodriguez@fcoh.net for more information. Impact Houston 2010 is March 27th! This is a missions conference for girls and boys-grades 6th to 12th grade.  Our Acteens will be attending this event and will be collecting items for donation including canned food, condiments, cooking supplies, personal products, cleaning products, paper goods, Christian CD/DVD and maternity clothes. If you can donate these items please bring them Sunday throughout the month of February. Cost to the conference is $10 and we will be registering February 28th.
